Program Details
In this program, learners explore how technology has changed over time and influenced the way we live and work. They’ll learn about Canadian innovations and design creative technologies for the future.

About Our Community
- Program length: 3-Hour volunteer-led session
- Program format: In-class or online
- Supports curriculum: Language, social studies
- Provided resources: Interactive digital resources, and a physical kit or resources for activities/games*

What will youth do and learn?
- Learn why change is needed for economic and social progress
- Identify Canadian inventors and their inventions
- Describe the impact of Canadian inventions on international business
- Explain why new technology displaces old technology and give examples
- Describe changes in Canadian society and business as a result of innovation
